Sunshine Schools offers fun and exciting programs to help your little ones learn and grow! Our infants and toddlers enjoy activities like sign language, cooking, and Spanish. We even offer a diaper and wipes service to make things easier for busy parents.
Preschoolers at Sunshine Schools love our Zumba, cooking, and baking classes. They can explore their creative side with art and music, and continue learning Spanish and sign language. It’s all in a safe and nurturing environment where children come first!

Keeping Your Child Safe and Healthy
We know you want the best for your child, and so do we! We keep our center safe and clean with security measures like cameras, restricted access controls, and fenced-in yards. We also use air purifiers to keep the air fresh and clean everything carefully every day. You can relax knowing your child is in a safe and healthy environment!

Our teachers far surpass the necessary licensing and state requirements. Many of our teachers hold a degree in Education or their CDA. We offer several opportunities and scholarships for our teachers to continue their early childhood education.

Yes, if your child outgrows clothes or books, feel free to drop them off.
Yes. For safety, jelly shoes, flip flops, slip-on sandals, and shiny bottom shoes aren’t appropriate for outdoor play. Please dress your child in tied, Velcro, or buckled rubber-bottom shoes.
Birthday parties are every Friday. Please give the teacher a two-day notice if you wish to celebrate. Only store-bought items can be brought, and we are a nut-free facility!
Yes! You’re welcome to visit anytime, share your talents with the class, and join field trips.
Yes!—Enroll in an Apprenticeship and be eligible for educational and other financial support! Pursue your degree at no cost while still working paid hours in our center. Plus, earn industry-recognized credentials, enjoy personalized coaching, and gain transferable credits toward your Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Little Sunshine Academy in Winterville! From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth and genuine care from the entire staff. The teachers are attentive, patient, and truly passionate about the children’s growth and happiness.
It has been amazing! I have my two foster kids out there and while I had never heard of the location nor knew anyone there the staff has been top tier from day one.
